    "The ban on business and financial transactions between Nigeria and Niger has also been lifted, with the retention of Niger's assets in the Central Bank of ECOWAS and commercial banks." according to the statement.

    In addition, President Tinubu's directive includes the lifting of the travel ban imposed on government officials and their relatives from Niger.

    This step shows the intention to do diplomatic relations and promote peaceful relations in the ECOWAS region.

    Moreover, the decision to lift financial and economic sanctions imposed on the Republic of Guinea shows Nigeria's support for efforts to stabilize and restore peace in the region.
