One of the reasons God allows, but does not cause, failure in your life is to keep you humble. If you do not want that to happen to you, you should bask in your successes without walking in pride. When you show off and flaunt your wealth, you affect the mental health of those struggling with poverty. And God does not love them less than He loves you. He feels their pains. To cure you of your lack of humility, God can allow you to temporarily face what they are going through. That is what happened with Nebuchadnezzar. And you are not too big for it not to happen to you!
