Sometimes God sits you down for a reason and a season. In that, learn to rest. Stop feeling guilty for being put on the bench. The bench is restoration. You don't know the doors that God is going to open for you. When he puts you back in the game, your strength and knowledge will be where they need to be so that you can last and move correctly. He needs you well rested and restored. Sit down and be obedient. Every season doesn't require movement.

Nobody is your friend unless they defend your name when you’re not around.

A real friend won’t stay quiet when others talk bad about you. They won’t laugh when you’re being disrespected. They won’t act like it’s none of their business.

They will speak up. They will shut it down. They will remind people who you are.

Surround yourself with people who protect your name. Who stand up for you. Who stay solid when you’re not around.

Because loyalty isn’t what they say to you. It’s what they say about you when you’re not there.
