  • This morning, I sat in deep thought and realized how many people I’ve had to let go of.
I’ve always been a social person the jovial one, the friend, the comic relief.
My life was filled with people, and I embraced it because I wanted to belong.
But despite the crowd, the feeling of truly belonging wasn’t there.

At some point, I began to lose people not through fights or misunderstandings, but through an unspoken drift.
It wasn’t because I didn’t want them in my life anymore, but because the next phase of my journey required fewer voices.

I’ve come to understand that having too many people around can sometimes bring too many advice,
leaving you confused about which direction to take.
Too many opinions can cloud your judgment, making it harder to hear your own inner voice.

In certain seasons of life, you don’t need a crowd.
You might only need two solid people to walk with you through that stage.
    And that’s okay.

Learn to let go to create space for growth and clarity.
Letting go is often the key to moving forward.

    Hope you've got values?

Until I write to you again,
    I'm Oyin

  • _Wedding on a Budget: Prioritizing What Truly Matters_

As you prepare to tie the knot, remember that your wedding day is just the beginning of your journey together. With the current economic climate being challenging for young people, it's essential to be mindful of your expenses. Here are some practical tips to help you have a beautiful and memorable wedding without breaking the bank:

    1. *Simple Proposal*: Consider proposing with a modest ring, and save the fancy one for a special anniversary or milestone.
    2. *Intimate Celebration*: Opt for a small, weekday wedding with a limited guest list. This will not only reduce costs but also create a more intimate and meaningful atmosphere.
    3. *Alcohol-Free Reception*: Skip the expensive bar and focus on serving delicious food and refreshing drinks that your guests will enjoy.
    4. *One Outfit is Enough*: You don't need multiple wedding outfits to make your day special. Choose one stunning attire and make the most of it.
    5. *Postpone the Honeymoon*: Your parents might not have had a honeymoon, and they're still going strong. Consider delaying your dream honeymoon until you're more financially stable.

Remember, your wedding is just the beginning of your life together. Focus on building a strong foundation, working hard, and creating a secure future. After a few years, you can always revisit and redo the things you had to compromise on due to budget constraints.

_Prioritize what truly matters: your love, commitment, and future together._
